Genevieve started her bookkeeping career training with one of Kelowna’s well-established accounting firms in early 2000’s. Over the years she continued to develop her bookkeeping skills through education and gained experience by working with demanding and problematic businesses. Due to a high demand of bookkeeping in the Kelowna area and numerous referrals from accountants and clients, Genevieve hired her first employee in 2011 and decided to create a business, now officially known as GD Bookkeeping.
Genevieve is a member of the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada and has certifications with QuickBooks Online, Sage 50 Premier Advisor and Hubdoc. She has worked with various types of software and is quick to learn any new software.
On her days off she enjoys spending active, quality time with her family, friends and her dog.

Donnie joined the GD Bookkeeping family in January 2017 with over 14 years of bookkeeping experience. She has helped individuals and small business owners to overcome their day to day challenges of balancing their books, processing payroll and filing their government remittances.
Donnie has worked with many different types of companies prior to GD Bookkeeping, including a local manufacturing company with branches in the USA, an accountant and a financial planning firm. She’s very knowledgeable with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online (Certified QBO Advisor), Hubdoc (Certified), Sage 50, Shopify, Square, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft office as well as many other programs.
Outside of work, she enjoys camping, fishing and relaxing at home with her husband. She also loves spending time with family and friends.

Jennifer began her career in the Banking Industry with one of the top five banks in Canada in her early years. She worked for the bank for 6 years and gained knowledge of financial workings and customer service. She quickly moved into full cycle Bookkeeping after starting her family which allowed her to work from home and raise her children. She has an extensive knowledge of the Sage 50 program and has continued to learn new programs such as QuickBooks Online over the past 10 years.
Since joining our GD Bookkeeping team in 2018, Jennifer works closely with construction clients as well as many companies using outside programs such as Shopify, Square and online sales. She has had experience with companies that need to catch up on months and even years of bookkeeping work, tackling a box from start to finish. She pays close attention to detail and likes to get things done. Jennifer has a professional and friendly attitude and likes to help her clients get organized with their paperwork and get a better understanding of the processes involved in keeping track of their business.
Jennifer loves spending time with her family. She enjoys camping in the Okanagan valley as well as utilizing the wonderful lakes, parks and beaches that her home town of Kelowna provides.

Jackie has been bookkeeping for over 7 years and joined our team in early 2019.She received her Diploma in Business Administration, Majoring in Accounting. She has experience with bookkeeping and tax preparation for Personal and Corporate returns, is familiar with Hubdoc, Sage 50, QBO, Yardi, Profile, Cantax and Caseware. Jackie typically works with clients in areas such as construction, development and finance. Her hobbies are hiking, reading and word puzzles.

Jocelyne joined the GD Bookkeeping team in November 2019. She brings with her 15 years of experience.
Jocelyne started her career in Fort St John, BC, working for a local public accounting firm as both a bookkeeper and a staff accountant. Working in public practice for many years, she has gained invaluable experience working with a multitude of clients within various industries, sizes, and software. She learned the importance of a clean set of books and how to prepare and complete corporate year-ends and tax returns.
Jocelyne moved to Kelowna in 2007 with her husband and young children to be closer to family. She was able to work from home performing bookkeeping for small local businesses while raising her family.
On her days off Jocelyne enjoys spending time with her family and friends outside in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. You will find her out running, hiking, biking, skiing, or relaxing at one of our beautiful beaches.

Chantal has been in the customer service industry for over 15 years. After deciding a change was necessary, she completed the Bookkeeping Certificate course at Okanagan College and began her new bookkeeping career. She then joined our GD Bookkeeping family in May 2021 and has become a valued part of our team. She is currently certified in QuickBooks Online, Hubdoc and Quickbooks Time formerly known as TSheets.
Chantal has been a long-time resident of Kelowna and enjoys all the various activities the Okanagan has to offer. She spends most of her time with her husband and 2 boys. She is also a big kid at heart, as she loves all things Disney, Marvel and even had a Harry Potter wedding.

Debbie’s had a long career working in management in the automotive industry with a focus on parts and service. After almost 20 years in the industry and having a growing family, she decided to shift her focus and try something new. She took a good look at her personality traits and strengths and decided that bookkeeping was a perfect fit. She enrolled in a Bookkeeping/Business Admin course and maintained a 4.0 average in multiple accounting, tax, payroll and management courses.
Debbie loves to play competitive sports and can usually be found at the ball field or on the volleyball court, if she’s not spending time with her boys.

Amy started her bookkeeping journey in 2002 with the start of her and her husband’s company in the construction industry. With a love of organization, math, and technology she took on the role of office manager and bookkeeper. The two started an additional partnership in the Arts in 2014 with her managing the online store and international order fulfillment.
Recognizing the paradigm shift from desktop to online and driven by the mantra: “there has to be a better way”, Amy recently made the jump from Simply Accounting/Sage to Quickbooks Online and the use of its many integrated apps. She is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor, Hubdoc Certified, and is always on the watch for new application software to integrate into her practice.
With her kids grown, Amy chose to further her bookkeeping career and joined the GD Bookkeeping team in 2023. She brings along her 20+ years of bookkeeping experience and a keen awareness of the importance of an accurate and up to date set of books from an entrepreneur and shareholder’s perspective.
In her free time Amy loves sharing good food with friends, and spending time with her husband, two kids, and doggos, exploring the many incredible places in B.C. and beyond.
